The part of the Bundaberg Region that I represent is Division 1.
Division 1 is the third largest division in the region out of the 10 divisions in total that make up Bundaberg Regional Council area.
Division 1 takes in the areas of Winfield, Watalgan, Mullet Creek, Yandaran, Miara, Avondale, Booyan, Moore Park Beach, Moorland, Welcome Creek, Meadowvale, parts of Bucca, Sharon, Oakwood, Fairymead, Gooburrum, Tantitha and parts of Bundaberg North. It is a diverse and complex division and has a range of properties and communities from urban to rural, coastal to hinterland, industries from agriculture to extractive, and 100 kilometres of coastline, Division 1 has it all.
Being the third largest division and having so many areas and communities to service and provide infrastructure to, there are always issues and matters that arise that need my attention and I am always out and about visiting residents in all areas to ensure their concerns are heard and I also ensure that each area gets the services and infrastructure that is needed and wanted by their communities.
I know the Division like the back of my hand, and I know what each community in my Division wants and needs. I have lived and breathed this job for the last 8 years and my experience, dedication, and knowledge for Division 1 and the Region is second to none.
Anyone and everyone that has had dealings with me over the last 8 years knows that if you need me all you have to do is call and I will be there. This is probably why I have worn out two cars and travelled the Division and Region many, many times over. I also live in Division 1 and have done for the last 12 years.
I will never tire of doing whatever is needed to represent all residents of Division 1.
I always make myself available to meet with and listen to my communities and hear what they have to say.
I will continue to fight for what you tell me is important.
