Moore Park Beach Dog Park

On the 23rd June, May Mitchell - Councillor for Division 9 - BRC who is also the Councillor Portfolio holder for Health, Compliance & Enforcement accompanied me inspecting the nearly completed New Off Leash Dog Park at MPB.

This will be an amazing facility, with separate areas for large and small dogs in grassed and treed surrounds which will create a welcoming shaded area, plus mulched sensory areas for our four-legged friends. This facility at MPB is brilliant and will be one of the best fenced dog park areas in our region.

While there, we also discussed ways that the community can be educated, as to the requirements of being a responsible pet owner. There are ever increasing dog issues across our region and Council would prefer that pet owners do the right thing instead of having to ensure compliance is met through enforcement action.
