On the 20th April, 2023 it was an honour to be part of the official opening of the New Gregory River Water Treatment Plant. This new water treatment plant is a vital piece of much needed infrastructure and has been a significant investment by Bundaberg Regional Council of $20.4 million dollars to deliver first-class water treatment.

I am proud to say, as the Water & Wastewater Portfolio Councillor that in the last 7 years, the Council that I have been part of has upgraded, renewed, replaced, and constructed new water and wastewater infrastructure facilities and systems across the region, with in excess of $130 million dollars being invested in Water & Wastewater Capital projects. These works will ensure continued delivery of services to our communities for many decades to come.
